  • LaTeX is a type-setting system that is particularly useful for displaying math. It has a somewhat steep learning curve, but is a fantastic investment of time and energy. You may download LaTeX at these links: Mac, Windows. For a really cool website where you can just draw the symbols in order to obtain the LaTeX code, please visit Detexify. This website will save you tons of time digging through the PDF of mathematical symbols in TeX.
  • If you still have trouble with LaTeX, let the internet help you! At the website http://tex.stackexchange.com/, you can ask questions regarding LaTeX, get help, and also help others. It's great.
  • My daily news sources: New York Times and The Economist.
